Nature photography is what especially draws me. Flowers, bees, butterflies, birds, you name it.

The play of color and light is a source of endless fascination and delight and there are no better subjects to explore this dynamic than what you find in the gardens and fields beyond the back door.

Minnesota abounds in a variety of natural settings ranging from forests to public gardens to prairie areas just waiting to be documented by camera and journal. This website is my way of documenting what I discover and sharing it with others. Consider it a sort of commonplace journal devoted to nature. I hope not only to share my images and observations but to also point you in the direction of others who share my interest and often surpass my skills with the camera. Social media platforms such as Twitter, Flickr, Facebook and Instagram give access to the stunning images these skillful and talented people capture and I am happy to promote their work as well as share my own.
